This was Apple's top of the line custom built Laptop, with the upgraded 2.6 Ghz processor and special upgrade hi-res screen, 1900  x 1200 screen.
Build-to-order options for the MacBook Pro include the ability to upgrade to up to 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, a 2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 200GB Apple Remote, Apple MagSafe Airline Adapter, Apple USB Modem, glossy widescreen display, 17-inch LED-backlit 1920 x 1200 high-resolution display.
The 2.5 GHz, (upgraded to 2.6 ghz) 17-inch MacBook Pro, for a suggested retail price of $2,799 (US), includes:

This computer is used and in working condition.  I am selling AS-IS because, I do not want returns for any reason.

Wi-fi and bluetooth work, and preformed updates with the Wi-fi.
Fresh installation of El Capitan, 10.11, Although you can downgrade to Snow Leopard and run your favorite PowerPC programs with installation of Roseta from the Snow Leopard disks   This Laptop is not for everyone, however if you are looking at it you may have a reason.  Apple does not make 17" Laptops anymore.
